It works exactly like the lucky packets that you grew up with \u2013 the content is top secret. We searched far and wide to compile a programme of 12 Lucky Pakkie performances, with elements of drama, comedy, cabaret, singing, mime, and other surprises\u201d, says Llandi Beeslaar, curator of Lucky Pakkie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Beeslaar three different Lucky Pakkies are presented. Melkbaard is not necessarily children\u2019s theatre but is presented with family friendly content (daily at 11:00), while parental guidance is recommended for Sagtebaard (daily at 14:00) and Hardebaard has an age restriction of 16 (daily at 17:00).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cFor those times when you sit in Oudtshoorn at the KKNK and can\u2019t help but feel there is an itch that has not yet been properly scratched. You have an hour to kill, and you are in the mood for something out of the ordinary, with a bit of flavour, but do not necessarily want to commit to a performance in a theatre. Lucky Pakkie is the perfect cure for that ailment\u201d, Beeslaar says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Every Lucky Pakkie consists of four, diverse performances of 15 minutes each. \u201cIf you like the show, perfect! If you do not like the show, it is still shorter than cooking a schnitzel in the air fryer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe point is that you do not know what is in each Lucky Pakkie. Our brief to the artists was simple: \u2018Compile a performance of 15 minutes where you showcase what a performance could look like when it does not attempt to be formal, traditional theatre.\u2019 Every Lucky Pakkie performance is something that you will definitely not find elsewhere on the programme at the KKNK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cSo, choose your vibe and trust us with the rest\u201d, Beeslaar concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lucky Pakkie\u2019s concentrated cultural inspiration (administer daily for nine days) is presented in Baron van Reede Street in front of Spur.
